Well I bet his buddy paid $350.00 for the hood and $450.00 to have it painted so, he figures he can get the 800 bucks back out of it.
It sounds crazy but hey, I sell stuff on ebay all the time and I am often amazed at what people will pay for stuff.
I have sold parts for a couple bucks less then I paid for them new 4 or 5 years ago!
And the funny thing is, if he would have (and he still could) just started the auction at 1 dollar, he probably would have ended up selling it for 400 bucks or more, because there has to be a guy out there with a green stang and a stock hood just dreamin of that Cobra R look.
So, I say fire up the pipe and relist that baby.
