I was reading in a magazine that a test was done with a crate motor, gt40x heads, and then afr 185cc heads. When the afr heads were put on the car, 75 hp more horsepower was added with these instead of the gt40x heads. How is this possible? They are the same price......If this is true, then how much hp is gained on a stock motor with gt40x heads alone?

yes it was a Motorsport 392 crate motor and it did happen do you read MM&FF magazine. It happened because 75% of your power lies in the top end of the motor and the AFR is a superior factory CNC ported head over an as cast by Ford using old school molds. Grab the FEB. 04 issue of MM&FF if you have it and read all the 331 builds.
