Anyways it was finally nice out today -5C ( i live in canda ) so i decided to look under the hood to see how dirty it was ... i was noticing my idle wasing right so i too my IAC off and cleaned it u... then i decided to take my TB off for the first time ( bought my 2000 GT used has 68k on it) here is what i found ... first pic is of back of my TB

Second pic is of my pelnum circled in red it a very rough part of it very lumpy and bumpy ( dont know if this is normal or not... and also note how oily and dirty it is .... is this normal as well?

my TB had the same look when i took it off, just not as dirty. as for your plenum...i dunno..get new gear i guess

oil residue in Intake is somewhat normal with car equipped with EGR. That light brown color in throtlle plate is normal color to me as well.

I'm not sure about that ugly bump. Mine wasn't like that when I ported it. I have heard of there being a casting bump, but mine wasn't that bad. Maybe they fixed it somewhat through the years. Couldn't hurt to dremel that down through. While your at it you could go ahead and port it a little and polish the inside, that wouldn't cast anything if you have the dremel. If you don't have one and would have to guy one, No better time then then put that money into an Accufab.
