I just got an ACT sensor but my intake plenum does not have a provision for an ACT (its a Typhoon). So I put it in the intake elbow before the t-body. I know it will get a colder reading than stock location, but will it cause any issues?
That is actually a better place to put the ACT, the best location if you are running a S/C or Turbo. That way you can modify the computer to read if the ACT is getting hotter to take spark out.
