Hi!

I just bought a Mustang GT 2001. My other summer beater is a 944 Turbo and comparing both, the Stang shifther is really not as bad as what I heard. It made me wonder if the assembly is stock being given that 4.10s and catbacks were already installed when I bought it.

Is this the stock assembly?

Bottom part looks like it.. cant see the arm due to the boot being in the way, but mine looked like that

Looks stock to me.

Have you ever tried to speed shift to third? If you have then you know why most of us replace the stock shifter asap.
