also which is better the one above or the stand alone?? the stand alone is$399 the one above is $350 plus the gauge $229

i have the lm-1. its very easy to use. the stand alone is nice but i dont think it records so what good is it. the lm-1 records up to 40 minutes of data so you can load it up onto a pc and take a look at it rather then just glancing at a gauge as you fly down the road
