Ok, 03 cobra, Bassani catted X, borla stinger cat back, Steeda cai, pro-m 95mm mas, super chip programmer, Metco 8 lb pulley and aux idler.

Originally we pegged the factory meeter at 5k rpms....called pro-m and they said they could cure it, got the new meeter in today and it allowed us an additional 800 rpm's....still pegging 5 volts at about 5,800.....called super chips and he was telling us how to tune the car in default mode and I said fu** that, it isn't the right way to do it. Apparently the only way for me to make it right is to buy Siemens 55lb injectors and re cal the new meeter....is anyone else running into these problems or is it me..... :( .......I thought these meeter's were good for more than that, or is everyone doing the wrong thing and tunning there cars in default??

Dump the Pro-M and put the stocker back on and see what happens is my suggestion. The stock MAF & injectors you listed should work fine for your mods. What made you upgrade to a Pro-M? Are you planning on a KB or Whipple upgrade soon?

I was told that a MAF and injectors go hand-n-hand and should be installed as a set.

U.M.

P.S. Best prices on those injectors would be from "Injector Dude". He's is a member of this board but doesn't hang around here much. You will need to go over to modularfords.com and try PM'ing him there.

I changed it because we were pegging the factory meeter at 5,000 rpm's....we called pro-m and they said their meeter would solve the problem. We gained another 800 rpm's with thier meeter but it's not good enough (pegging at 5,800)

We spoke with dave from super chips and he wasn't surprised at all, his suggestion was to buy 55lb injectors and get the pro-m re calabrated......the larger injector will stop us from pegging the meeter.

I was surprised because I havent herd of anyone else having these problems. My only explanation is the amount of air im pushing, most bro's have a 6lb pulley, I have the 8lb Metco.

Something just doesn't sound right to me.... Why does your set up peg the stock MAF at 5000, when the vast majority with the same, or even more boost don't peg it even at 6500? You are the first person I've read about that has pegged the stock meter so easily...

Are you sure the Pro-M cal is right? They are notorious for messing up on the calibration's. Took 3 times in a row through their inspections program to get mine right - on their dime too.
