issues with the 5.0

ok i have a 1990 i had put a little system in i put 1 ten wired directly to the battery ok so now the problem when the car is off the speakers and sub sound fine but when i start the car they get all statiky
since the problem ive done a tune up plugs wires and rotor
what could be the problem?

It sounds like you're getting ground loop noise through your stereo. What kind of RCA cables are you running? A good twisted pair will get rid of a lot of noise, and if that doesn't do the trick they have ground loop isolators that you can get.


EDIT:
Oh, and you also want to run your RCA cables on the opposite side of your power wire.
