Those of you who know me, have been hearing about a 408 stroker project that I have had going on now for about three years... I know, I've been talking about this forever... Well boys and girls -- it is finally going to happen... KillrB has been helping me over the past several weeks and we have solved all of the fittment problems... I finally just broke down and bought a PA Racing k-member with a 1" motor drop and an 1.5" steering rack drop... We put the engine in this weekend and everything fit just fine... So now it is just a matter of getting it all back into the car and then crossing our fingers and praying that the darn car will start...
I can't believe it... We (KillrB and I) were talking after working on the car the other night, and he pointed out that there is not one factory part left on the car, other than the rear end, that is typically modified, that I have not modified on this car... It has went from 100% factory stock, to completely taken apart, to almost
put back together again...
It has been forever, but I am really looking forward to seeing you all at the track and the car shows later this summer... I can't promise, but I am really trying to get everything done so I can be out and about around the 1st of July...
