Its 3 stinking degrees here this morning!

I'm just going to read my service manuals again.

Anyone doing something worthwhile?

Same here. I have a pretty effective garage heater,...(One of those propane fueled "tower" thingys,....gives off 80,000 BTU's)

Warms up quickly,..also fills up just as quickly w/ carbon monoxide.

I have a small one sitting right next to me now. Vent free. I ain't working on chit though.. I'm screwing off before I have to go in and assemble the Chinese buffet I had delivered for Momma.

Procrastination setting: 105% of nominal.

I'm not sure I can keep this up for much longer.

I'll hold out as long as I can.

I really couldn't do much till monday anyhow.

I couldn't get to my blue car last week, so no new parts to work on.

If i had some money i would be buying an '83 shell and taking it out to the yard where i got my blue car.

https://tulsa.craigslist.org/pts/5919472414.html

LOTS of interior parts there i would like to have. Just the seat belts alone make it worth it

Truck thermometer said 8 on the way into work today. Just as well, my little 120v heater in the garage with the kitchen door open (insulated garage FTW) can't keep up when it's under 30.

It was 80 here yesterday. 95% humidity. When I got off work at noon I was drenched with sweat. I shucked off my coveralls and they went splat when they hit the locker room floor. I'm kinda glad we got a north wind to blow that crap out. Now if it would just lay..

Well I guess I have you guys beat with consistency. It has been consistently cold here for a few weeks now. Yesterday was in the teens, today -10. I have a good garage heater with an insulated garage, but it wont keep up in this crap. I can see daylight around my garage door. The good news is that this bitter cold isnt normal. Only happens here and there. Teens are normal though, so it still sucks. Why my ancestors chose this state to call home, I am not really sure.

Nope. Got down into the 20s here last night and hasn't gotten above 35 all day. I know to some of yall up north that's shorts and t-shirt weather, but to us that live in the land of 100-110 degree highs in the summer, we just basically say "eff it" if we don't have to be outside... so I'm bumming around on the forums and probably going to play some WoW or GTA V or something later.
