Well things have been nuts...haven't even had a chance to touch or spend money on the new build up for the car. I graduate in Dec. so after that I will be able to thrash on the new set-up.

Basically the only things being reused is...front suspension, C4 tranny, converter, block, meter, lower/upper intake, PMS software management, fuel system...everything else will be new from the 302 supercharged motor I ran for years. I sold the T-trim and many other parts to build a solid hi-rev NA motor.

Combo: 347 (B50 block, DSS girdle, SCAT 4340 crank and rods, JE pistons...11.3:1), AFM cam (don't ask which one), AFR 205s, TFS R intake (might move to the new box upper later), Bassani stepped exhaust, good valve train....etc...etc... Will shift this motor at 7,000rpms w/ the stock OEM lifters and will run the same ETs my supercharged motor ran. All new trick rear suspension, weight drop all the goodies. The PMS will control is all....(might even control some nitrous later in life). I still have a lot of work to do but here are a few preliminary pics. If you have any question besides the cam feel free to ask. The heads are still at the shop so no longblock pics.

The pics are big so here are the links:

Me either...in good weather we're expecting 10.80s once the suspension is dialed in. Planning to spend about 2-3hours on the dyno in March to find the HP. Once it warms up here in Houston I am going to add water injection from Snow to help keep me at 11.00s.

Looks real good, Troy.

It looks like the pistons may be outta the hole a little bit? Have you figured out the total static compression yet? Pump gas? Street car?

Paul,
Just ready to learn something new...been doing the supercharged thing for 4 years. NA motors are more tricky to get max power from especially with changing conditions...which I'm ready to learn about. Nice rag as well man!!

Dustin,
I have a PI converter in there now, with the old 302/supercharged motor it would flash at 3200 and go to 3400 on the transbrake. I have no clue when it will stall to on the new motor...considering I will be some 250lbs lighter I'm expecting something around 3600-3800 on the transbrake. Just have to see what it does and go from there.

Joe,
Pistons are zero, not out of the hole. With a .042 gasket compression is going to be somewhere in the neighborhood of 11.1-11.3:1 I'm still considering a .038 gasket to bring it up some. Car will always see 104 octane. Will be a track only car...could easily be street but being a street car in Houston is a major PITA.

Thanks for the compliments guys, can't wait to really do some work on this this x-mas.
