No Fastenall near you?

Meh... Let Amazon bring it to the door.

Glad that stuff worked out. I'm thinking it [should] last since it was designed for what you're using it for.

The wife wanted pulled pork for dinner tonight. She put this 10.5# Boston Butt on the smoker at 5 this morning.

Here it is after pulling it apart.

It alive!! Lol. Well kinda. The grill is usable. I ordered the needed hardware today it should be here in a few days. I've got to build a cart for it. I've got ideas ranging from super simple to full blown out door kitchen stuff.

What kind of wood would you guys suggest for holding up well outside?

In-ground Pressure treated 4x4 or 6x6. Particulalry, if you plan to leave it outdoors and/or put wheels on it.

If you decide to put wheels on it, use inflatable wagon wheels. The size of your base depends on how top-heavy that thing is.

The temp gauge for the grill came in the mail yesterday! I think I might try to cook something on this thing this weekend.

I bought a pork butt, cheap stuff here. $15 for an eight pound butt. Here it is seasoned.

In the smoker at roughly seven this morning.

It’s pretty close to being wrapped up right now, I’ll post a picture of how it looks then.

This is my first shoulder/butt. It’s supposed to be fairly simple.

I didn't cook anything in the ceramic grill this weekend, but I DID start putting together a kick ass table for it. I'll post pics later.
