No the engine's not in yet, but thats the next step. I wanted a tubular K-member before I set the engine in there, but there's no way I can afford it right now. :( Anyways, I've got the radiator/fan installed, brake lines back on, and most of the wiring done. I just zip-tied the radiator and fan on for now, once I know there's nothing wrong with the radiator I'll grind the lip down on the top and bottom so it'll fit a little better. And the fan is on my list of things that I want to replace but can't afford right now.

Hopefully I'll be putting the engine together this weekend so it should be in the car in a couple weeks. I'll be sure to keep you all updated :flag:

Thanks guys, that's what makes all the hard work worth it! :nice:

To get the cowl off, first remove the wipers. They flip up and then you pull the tab to release them. Then there are either 3 or 4 screws along the weather strip piece. You will probably have to pry these out, they are the 2 piece kind that unscrew and then pop out. The cowl will seem like it's stuck, but it should just pop off after you remove the screws.

Wytstang, Yes they are Hotchkis C/C plates. :nice:

Looking good ! :nice: Real nice job on the engine bay.

Now take your fan back off, wash it and then black paint dude. :nonono: DO NOT let all of that hard work be disrespected by that dirty a$$ fan man! I know you want to replace it, but make that one at least look new until you change it. :nice:

Yeah, I was feeling lazy that day so I kinda half-assed it lol. I'll get around to it sometime. Right now I just really want to get the car running so Im focusing my time on the engine now. It was a beautiful 75* sunny day here today and really missing the stang. :(

Hey man I know that feeling oh so well. I took mine apart like that last winter to polish it all up and paint and it starts to get overwhelming as everything is ready to go back together. Pace yourself and don't get stressed out b/c when she's back together and back together right the way you envisioned it before you started.....it will feel amazing. :hail2:
Let us know if you need any help but it looks as if you got it all covered already.

I will be back to inspect that fan. (D.I. voice)

Now that's what I'm talkin about.
I bet you could score your best times now Low heheh

Where in ohio are you??
Car looks amazing!

Thanks! I live in Newport which is about 13 miles north of Marietta.

Caldwell, I think I could hit 9's if I remove my speaker box! It's really light right now. :p

Vib, How much is that K-member? Last I checked I barely had enough $$$ to finish the engine so the K-member would be pushing it. I'll consider it tho because I know it will be soooo much easier to change right now.

Thanks for the compliments guys! I've been working all weekend every weekend on this for almost 2 months now and it's great to finally see it coming together nicely. :flag:
