It's this necesary

Hi guys

I recently have been experiencing some trouble whit my 96 vert
For example when I go over a speed bump or when I’m on uneven pavement
I begin to hear a lot of noise on the front and on the rear of the car
So my conclusion is that since is a 10 year old car probably mi control arm bushings are shot so I went and order the complete set of bushings from energy suspension

So my question is since I’m getting down there should I replace my lower ball joints and inner and outer tie rod ends since it’s going to need alignment

Do you have excessive play in your steering system ? If not I would think your rod ends are fine. Check the ball joint and see if its ok. Boot torn ? Grease everywhere ? Stuff in it ? Just do a visual inspection.

One thing about poly bushings:

If you replace your OEM rubber bushings with polyurethane, you are going to get a little better handling, since you will have less "slop" in the suspension system.

HOWEVER, you will get a lot more vibration and road noise, since the rubber is softer and helps isolate the body from the suspension. A lot of people think poly bushings aren't worth it unless you race on road courses all the time (you won't get to use the extra handling unless you're near the edge of the car's capabilities).
