The ONLY thing worse than waiting for car parts to come in from UPS is having them sitting right next to you and not being able to install them The big brown truck stopped by my house today and dropped off my 2nd turbo and an intercooler. Just waiting on a few more little things then I'll be able to start the build up. I'm hoping that I'll be able to start by the end of this month if everything goes well. Heres a pic of the turbos and one intercooler I have so far. They are both Garrett T3's .60/.63 a/r and I'm shooting for around 500rwhp on 8-10psi at the most.

Awesome! That looks like a small intercooler, or is it?

Get some new valve covers while you're at it

Whats wrong with my fox valve covers? I'm going to polish them up better. That intercooler is off of a DSM. I'm going to be doing a seperate intercooler for each turbo and going to stick them right behind the fog light holes.

Christ Zach, that thing is going to be wicked. Why twins? We're talking 10's now. Make sure you stash away about 500 bucks so you can get the car tuned. That's going to be the key to keeping the block in one piece. Are you going to put the stock cam back in it?

I'm going to be keeping the TFS Stage 1 cam in it for now. I might stick the stock cam back in when I go to a 331 or get a custom cam made for my car. I opted for twins because they can be found used and still in good condition for fairly cheap. Each one of thoes turbos only set me back $120 shipped.

How are you going to fabricate the plumbing for those turbos? Can you buy a kit for that?

I'm going to get some U bend pipes and some exhaust tubing and cut and weld them together. I'm going to be looking at somewhere around $1000 total for everything including fuel system upgrades.

I wouldnt worry much about it. SC's put alot of drag on the engine, compared to a turbo.

Looks great zach!

Man that's gonna be a major project. So you think that IC will flow enough? The inlet/outlet tubes look pretty small.

I'll just keep it AS IS right now until I get enough to ceramic coat them, or just spray them gloss black. That one intercooler should be enough for just one turbo so we'll see what happens once I get it up and running. I'm still waiting for another one to come in.

Yeah hes getting 2 IC's for the turbos, 1 per. I dont know if you read that above or not.. I think that idea of putting them behind the fog lights is pretty clever too.
