Well I picked up my cobra front bumper cover a few weeks ago, got it for $200 shipped off of ebay and finally got around to preping it today for paint. After getting sick of it sliding all over the place and bouncing around on me I decided to put it on my car so it wouldn't move around on me. I plan on painting it next week. Heres a few pic of it on my car

Looks nice. I'm doing the same thing later on cause my bumper has four holes in it from the license plate. I'd rather not paint the current bumper, so I'm going with a Cobra front bumper that does NOT have license plate holes. :)

Post the cost of the paint job when you get it done. Should look real nice.

Rice wished they looked that nice. :)

ATTENTION MODERATORS: there is a ricer in he and he needs to be banned, immediately!!! :D

j/k. looks real good. and it is ok to put a different color body piece on for test fitment and as long as it is painted within in a reasonable amount of time.

we all know true ricers NEVER intend to paint their body kits, hoods, etc. to amtch the rest of the car.

I wouldve just spent the $200 to have that thing pro painted, unless you really know what youre doing...If that thing is not prepped right, you will have flaking all over the place.

GL.. I love those bumpers..only thing keeping me from it is that they are too common and having to change the fogs..otherwise they are :nice:

Thanks for the concern RC but I pretty much know what I'm doing. There is a flex additive you put in the paint for stuff like this that wont make it crack. I painted my car the way it is right now, so I shouldnt have a problem painting this bumper :nice:

ponypowa2, I plan on getting the clear cobra lights from Pro Car Parts, but other stuff comes first.
