Ordered a upper control arm from American Muscle, got the part and was checking it out. Noticed no steel sleeve that goes between the bushing and the bolt. This is the end that mounts to the body. Called American Muscle and they said it doesnt get one. I havent taken it apart yet but there is no way this can be correct. If a .75 inch hole has a .5 inch bolt through it would have slop to it. They insist there is no sleeve. For someone that has changed this what do you think? Thanks

are you talking about the stepped washers needed to adapt the 16mm hole to the 14mm bolt ? Or did you not get the steel sleeve and polyurethane bushings ? I have J&M lca's, mine have polyurethane bushings, a round bushing and a sleeve that goes through each mounting point.

I have the J&M UCA and it does come with the stepped washer that go on the outside of the stock UCA mount. As for a sleeve, there is one built into the bushing that is on top of the diff housing, and it comes with a metal sleeve that goes through the poly bushings and ball. Just go to hotpart.com and you'll see the metal sleeve in the pictures. I got the middle one, the double adjustable UCA and it actually looks a bit different than the picture. It did come with the stepped washers which aren't shown in it's picture and the jam nuts on either side of the adjustment piece are larger.

I spoke with American Muscle today, still claims the control arms do not come with a sleeve, I then called J&M and they said they had a shipment go out with missing sleevs and they sent me one.
So hopefully this will prevent any headaches for anyone else in the future
