J-mod?

I m not too tech savey when it comes to automobiles, I was just wondering what a J-mod is? I have a 2001 gt, auto, and I was wondering if it might have this mod, i've ridden in my buddys 03 gt, auto and when his shifts it feels nothing like mine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's possible, but it is also possible you have another shift-kit in there.
