JBA header help. dead in the water on pass side

IM STUCK! i got the driver side bolted up now im having a problem with the pass side. how the hell do i get the new one in?! its immpossible!!! i got the old one out ok no problem. i removed the starter and MM with out any problems but when i go to put the new one in it gets stuck on the tranny where the starter bolts up and on the k looking thing.


any suggestions...

fyi: installing JBA shorties, i have a 08 gt 5spd

If I remember correctly when I installed my JBA's I had to disconnect the right motor mount and jack up the passenger's side of the engine a bit.

Oh, I just realized that u r installing shorties sorry, I thought it was longtubes....

take your front tire off, give you little more room to work/see.

its not so much that i cant see its the fact that im getting hung up on the trans, the body of the car, and possibly the k member i have tried every direction possible. next option it so have it towed out of my garage on a flat bed

I put Ford Shorties on mine. I had to do as the other poster suggested, and disconnect the right motor mount and jack the motor up on that side. Pulling that wheel off isn't a bad idea either.
