I give up on these guys. Every time I call them I get a different quote on things. They are giving me a price quote now on Magnaflow Catback?? Basically talking me out of their own JBA Catback. I don't want Magnaflows Sigh. And they are 50 bucks more LOL

Plus, they want 579 bucks just for springs and installation!

So, any other place to go to here in San Diego??

i feel bad for you dude. i really do. my advice, if you want the JBA catback, tell them that is the one you want and ask for a price quote in writing. also, don't have them install springs. we're all reasonably competent enough to do it without any problems. save yourself some bucks.

dooooooon't get magnaflow! its way too quiet IMHO.

What exhaust do you have? I noticed JBA has 2 different kinds. One is the aluminized and 1 is the stainless steel. I'm jsut going to order through a 3rd party like Hopup racing or something.

I met the owner of JBA over the summer, he was an adult leader for a scout troop that came through my camp. Real nice guy.

were you at Emerald Bay or something? When I met J., I was the SPL when his son first joined my troop maybe 5-6 years ago. He's the reason I bought a mustang in the first place, after seeing his GT500, how could I not?

As a matter of fact, yes i was. I'm the trading post manager over there. He was wearing a Ford Racing hat so I started talking to him.

He gave me a card and told me he'd give me an E.B. Staff Discount

i was at EB a couple of years ago, in 99 i think. i knew a guy who was a counselor there every summer too.

"tex"...ya thats him all right honestly he was one of the most annoying people i have ever met in my entire life. not mean or malicious or anything, just freaking annoying as hell.

Yeah, its funny, I've known him for years and we used to be pretty good friends, he even dated a friend of mine that he me through me.

The more I got to know him the more I saw the front he puts up, ass kisses just about everyone he meets for his own gain. Got sick of him, and just started seeing what a dirtbag he was.
