Christmas come early this year when my fiancee bought me some Jegs GS-1 seats

My buddy bought a pair of these off of Summit, but theirs do not tilt forward for rearseat access and only come in three colors, otherwise they are identical.
Even though these seats are leather-simulated vinyl they "feel" more like leather than my real leather OEM seats. Of course, only the center section on the OEMs is actually leather and the rest is vinyl. The weight on the shipping box says each seat is 37lbs (17kg) which I'd say is close to the weight of the passenger OEM seat but much lighter than the powered drivers seat.
To mount these I purchased seat bracket adaptors from Wedge Engineering. They mount to the stock seat bracket holes and told them to drill holes for the sliders (11" long by 13-3/8" wide). I thought this would be a simple bolt-in type job...not so. The brackets mount to the floor fine and the holes for the sliders are dead on but the arm and bolt for the seat belt receiver interfered with the seat from sliding. A little Dremel work and drilling later they worked fine.
I think they look really good in my car. The black on these seats doesn't clash with the dark charcoal interior and the grey inserts compliments the billet and silver painted interior pieces. I didn't gain that much headroom unfortunately, but for sure gained a few inches. The hold you in quite nicely yet I don't feel too cramped.
