Wow, so Fedex is saying this package is 50lbs and the other is 51lbs.

Does it come with any extra weight in the packaging or is it really that heavy? Ouch.

I'll weigh them all said and done when I get them on the 24th.

Thanks for posting the weight, I have been thinking about getting a set of these myself, but when I called jegs, they couldnt even give me a weight so I said no thanks. I might stick with the fixed back corbeau. Thanks for posting, good info.

FedEx said the same thing for me but the box they arrive in says 17kg (37lb). I figure a box that big weighs between 5-10lbs .

I know my last post said "one last question" but....do you think the OEM seats will fit in the Jegs boxes. I know that may sound silly, but I want to be able to get rid of the stock ones as easy as possible w/o having to search for packaging.

If you can fold the OEM seats totally flat they might. My boxes came so beat-up though I didn't want to reuse them.
