Does anyone know how a JLT Performance Cold Air Intake works on a 99-01 Cobra?

What happens to the MAF?

Does it go in the fender with the filter?

How easy is the install?

Dose anyone have this already?

This is the intake I want to get for my cobra, but I want to keep the MAF sensor. Thanks

The HP gain I believe is 16-20 vs the '03 (26-30) but is well worth it. Highly recommend even though a little more $$. Jay is very knowledgeable and courteous. MAKE SURE YOU TAKE THE WHEEL OFF. I made the mistake of trying to do it without and wasted about 4 hrs, a few beers, and a few explicits. It should take about 2-3 hrs.

took me about 4 1/2 hrs... i like to take my time though plus its kind of a bear getting the pipes adjusted correctly (2 elbow bends) as to make the filter comfortable in the fender. not hard just tedious. you do need to take the tire off when installing, and i went ahead and pulled back the plastic as well. when servicing (cleaning filter) though, you shouldnt need to take off the wheel, just plastic.
