The CAI is going to make a minimal increase in power over the RAI just because it brings in more cold air. For the CAI, you have to install the mass air meter from the engine bay to into the fenderwell and the big plastic tubes makes the install a little tedious.

What are your mods now?

You should look into the Horsepower budget kit that JLT has. It's only $100 and you can put more money into other mods.

I agree, buy the $100 kit and then save and get some gears

i had a bbk cold air intake and was very unhappy with it and bought the jlt cai and also added a accufab 75mm throttle body/upper plenum combo...the intake was a little bit of a pain to install but once u think about wat ur tryin to do before u actually do it its not hard and i noticed a decent difference granted i added the throttle body and plenum but it looks good and works well...if u got ur mind set on making an intake b ur next mod id recommend the cai otherwise like fobra said get some gears
