wow this really sux, first goes tom scarpello, and now john coletti....i think we have seen the hay day of SVT and a matter of fact, we will probably not ever see SVT again. Even if SVT still stays around, it will not be the same. what does this say about the new mustang and f150, first off, because I would think all the svt guys would be excited to finally work on a modern chassis. I think ford is canning the program but is insisting that the people like coletti just say that they are retiring for personal reasons...ford does not want all of us svt fans to revolt and go elsewhere, so they will just keep us in the dark and make us wait longer...
WTF!!

I'd rather have Coletti as well.

Shelby could die at any moment.

If SVT is staying and the car is not a Shelby, let's hope Coletti passed on enough of himself to those who are left.

Garrett turbocharger is has a contract with ford for the 07 Cobra. SVT will probably still be around, maybe with different badging.

Honestly it look like a brite future for the SVT program.
Like he said. the Line ahs a product cycle and great stuff is scheduled for us. I believe will will see a Ford 500 sVT model along with the Cobra, the L in the next model year after the Cobra and possibly some Shelby derived lines rolled into the SVT program.

Many people believe shelby will run a line but it would be cheaper and would run smoother if Shelby contributed to t\an already well known brand line like the SVt program rather than taking the program away and trying to introduce a new one. sVT has already proven to Ford that they can do a great job and sell units although on a limited production basis.

:OT: I've been wondering if SLP is courting Ford to mod up the GT.

I have the SLP Loud mouth on My Cobra and like to say I am quite happy with it.

Shebly will be good, just not the same. Also, how much longer is he going to live, I mean the man is already is his 80's, it will be sad to see him go.

I think this is the worst news us performance fans at ford have heard in recent times. Come on he is responsible for the 03/04 cobra!
