While I'm building my 03 evo (Motor has been out for almost a year now ) I decided to make a mustang purchase.


1997 GT

Car has 100k on the chasis
Leather interior
Some funky ipod radio that I can't figure out (Guess I'm officially old)
PI head swap
Cam (unknown, I was told it was the biggest they could go without notching the pistons)
Trickflow upper intake mani
Long tubes
off road X pipe
Cat back

75mm T-body
03 cobra wheels
Xcal3 tuner tuned by Dave Guy at SGS
Fresh paint


I'm probably forgetting stuff forgive me I honestly didn't ask too much about the car. I bought it sight unseen after all my co-workers at CJ Pony Parts told me I should DEFINITELY buy this car (I needed a daily driver while I'm building my evo)

It's pretty damn fast I have to admit here's a picture that I stole from the previous owners myspace account

Thats a nice SN95...If u dont mind me asking, how much did u get it for? U dont have to answer that if u dont feel comfortable....

I got it for 5k. The kid had been trying to sell it for a year so that he could put a cage in his 10 second cobra.

Looks clean, nice mod list.

Should be a pretty quick car as it sits... you got a good deal on it in my opinion...:thumb:

D@mn good #'s!!! is it still a stock NPI block with PI heads? Should have higher compression than a 99-04...

yessir I believe it is. Nice to have friends huh? Went out to lunch with my pal that owns a dyno/tuning shop. We're an import club. He's like "Ready to go see what it makes?"


I've made like close to 100 dyno pulls in my life, I've paid for about.......5 =)

U should be able to pull on stock & light bolt on 03/04 mach 1s', 96-01 Cobra's with those numbers considering your car should be lighter....

I cant believe the guy let it go for that price, it probably has double that in mods alone....

Yeah honestly....I couldn't either. I couldn't not buy it. I work at CJ Pony Parts, but that really didn't matter, obviously since I own an evo I'm not a brand loyaltist, but the fact remains it was an insane deal.

That was one hell of a deal and one sick car. My goal is 300+ rwhp by the spring and I'm probably going to have to pay 5k for the parts and install, you got a whole car for that cost.

New to forum and Mustangs

Just recently bought a 2004 Mustang GT 5 speed... Redfire Metallic Deluxe Edition.. All leather seats and Mach 460 stereo system... Already have a few mods done...

*K&N CAI
*HR 2" Lowering Springs all the way around
*1" Throttle Body Spacer
*Maximum Sports Caster/Camber Plates
*Blipstein Struts/Shocks
*Bassani X Full Exhaust (Bassani Catted X pipe, Bassani Cat-Back)

Looking to turn this into a Saleen.. Next month got a Kenne Bell Supercharger coming.. plan on running it at 9 psi and a Diablo Tuner.. so I should be pushing close to 500 RWHP and 450 ft-torque.. Right now Im at about 300 HP
