i just found out about this last night. its on an abandoned 4,500ft runway so i imagine its 1/4 mile. apparently it was 1/4 mile back in the day too.

yup full 1/4 mile, these will be the only dates the "track" is open this year, after these events the track will be repaved for next year...also july 13th there is a mustang roundup with 300-500 stangs showing up, BE THERE!! also check out the website there is some cool pics and info there as well

On the 13th there should be a couple hundred Mustangs there!!
That is the ending point for the Pony Trails Cruize!!

So I would say, it should be a busy day in Shelton.

It would be great to get than many Mustangs at the track, but 30 Mustangs racing would be a good turnout. Please keep us posted on the extent of interest. I don't think many of those attending the Mustang Roundup would be willing to drag race.

Will this track continue to be open for only a couple weekends each year or does the "repaving" imply that it will be opened to an expanded schedule in the future?

Do they use any traction compound (VHT)?

After checking the schedule, Pacific Raceway is hosting its only July Car Club Race on that very day (13th) and Bremerton's ALL FORD DAY is the following day (14th).

so far i'm still going, i'll find out what time it starts on the 6th..hope you guys show up and look for me in the 82GT, i should have a 10x10 blue tent cover up to stay outta the sun..or rain
