I am hoping my fellow Stang brothers and sisters can help me out. I am taking my Girl Scout Troop up to the track on Friday the 10th to run my car for them. It would be great if a few more of you could come out as well and show off your rides for them. I am working hard to break down the barriers and show the girls it's not just a guy's sport anymore. Even if the ladies are still a minority, the numbers are starting to grow.

So, please show your support and head on out that night to join us.

That is the day after my birthday, I'm planning on taking a 1/2 day from work that day and heading up there around 3ish. Cool?

I will be bringing them around the pits to show them the cars, the tech area, the tower etc... and hopefully have time to squeeze a couple of passes in myself.

bike week interference????

I've been told that because bike week starts on Saturday, that traffic is going to be outrageous going up to Epping tomorrow night. Is there any truth to this??? I know weekend traffic usually sucks going up on Friday night, but will it be any worse than usual????

I would go up 495 to route 125N it might be a little longer but I dont think the traffic will be as bad. That is the way that i think i am going to go.

I usually go 495 to 125 anyways, but I've been hearing 3 - 4 hour ride horror stories. I hope that's all they are, and not fact.

With the questionable traffic, meeting there would be safer than trying to cruise up together. I will be pitting closests to the grandstands and food/bathroom building. Look for a 2005 black Dodge 3500 crew cab with black window tint and a 99 atlantic blue gt. The other dead giveaway is the troop of girl scouts wearing their green vests!!! I plan to be at the track btwn 5:15pm and 5:30pm.
