junkyard 31 spline differential question.

1st i'd like to say hello to everyone since im new here, i have been lookin around in this forum for awhile...ive been planning a complete rebuild on my 92 gt. anyway, im lookin at building up my rear end, im goin with the ford racing 31 spline axles and 3.73 gears. i recently found a differential carrier and gears out of a 2000 explorer at a junkyard. its a 8.8 31 spline posi differential with 3.73 gears. the place that im ordering the axle shafts from said that they require a 31 spline tracktion loc differential. will the parts from the explorer work?

yuup. as long as it's a 31 spline carrier for a solid axle 8.8, it'll work.
