Cowl panels. 75 each....got that for the last 3.
5.0L alternator brackets....75 bucks...(I bought two at a swap meet once for 5 dollars....sold them for 75 EACH!!!)
GT tail lights...135 each shipped.
LX tails....75 each, 85 shipped.
GT rear bumper covers!!!!...Haven't had one it years...got 350 for the last one.
V8 T-5....650 to 750 all day

he even states that made 145 dollars on two alternator brackets, he paid 5 bucks for them and sold them for 75 each, thats just greedy and wrong in my eyes.
He could have sold them for 25 or 30 a piece and still made 50 bucks or so.

Do you think twice about buying gas when you need it?

You know damn well that the oil companies are making more profit that svt is.......

supply and demand..
= :owned:

I have a new (NOS) LX rear bumper

I have a new in the box LX rear bumper, factory Ford, with MUSTANG printed in it.

Whats it worth, $1500???? Free??

Seriously, we DONT have a responsibility to help each other, but it is nice to do so....

but business is business, and if someone wants to pay more for a used part than a new part, well it serves them right I suppose.

On a different note, I don't think pickaparts are always the most inexpensive...where I am we get charged all kinds of BS fees in addition....

The biggest joke are core charges. WTF!!!???? why does pick your part charge a core charge on a junk yard item, BECAUSE THEY CAN!!!!!

I haven't visited this thread in a few days. Looks like many of you stuck up for me. All of you understand that I work for a business. We buy these cars from online auctions that are international. I am bidding against 50 other states and countless other countries. We then pay for the car, three other fees, towing, then we have overhead, gas, electric, water, payroll, telephone bill...and many many bills from parts we buy and resell..(which are not in stock.) Truck and heavy machinery maintenance, truck insurance, health insurance, life insurance etc. The list goes on and on...we are a business.

Next. I am pretty cool. I treat people with respect when they come in and I pull parts while they wait, but have most of them already sitting on the shelf. I am not F---ing people as stated. They call on the phone, I price what they ask for. If they come down, they buy it for that price. If they don't come down, I don't sell it for that price. I will sell it to the next guy. When people walk in the shop, I price them. Some buy the stuff and are happy to get it. Do you know what they tell me?? "I called all the yards around, nobody had this...they gave me your name and number and said you are the guy to talk to around here." They are satisfied. It's also funny because most of my customers always ask me like.."Do you know Madison, or do you know Chad"? I go...yeah,...and they say, yeah he told me about you. So I get good word of mouth advertising.

I appreciate you admiring my work on "Project Hack Job". Some do and some don't, so anybody who does is a plus in my book, but please try and understand that we have a small business with overhead, and I am not price gouging, these customers are happy to get the part because there aren't many foxes around this area. They are rotted and gone.

BTW...those alternator brackets....those are 279.99 brand new at 50 Resto....so 75 dollars is more than fair, and those guys were SO HAPPY, because they feared their cars would be down for the Woodward Dream Cruise!!! That is the biggest event around here...actually it's the largest car cruise in the world!! People come from other countries!!

Thanks to all who stood up and understand a business. You guys really hung in there for me!!
