I had mine up to 140 with plenty left, but had to slow down for a known big bump on the freeway. :damnit:

I honestly don't really know.. a friend of mine and I were heading up to the finger lakes in NY and we went past 150 and were still accelerating.. in 5th Rpms were around 5600 with 3.27's that is when I finally let off the gas and slowed down..

needless to say I only did it once...

it was the first day my buddy got his Turbocharged integra back and we were on our way home from school....3 lanes in each direction....no traffic....we both jumped on it....door to door till about 125 then we shut it down.....was the best race, and fastest race ive ever had....havnt gone anywhere near that fast since...too much can go wrong....my car was very close to stock at that point....Bassani Catback and a drop in K&N was all i had done performance wise

My girlfriends dad own a a test shop and they just got in a saleen S7. They are taking it to the track today, tomorrow and Friday. They usually get to drive the cars around. I am trying to persuade them to let me drive it at the track. I know it's not a mustang but ford still builds it. If they let me drive it I will let you know how fast I go. And you know if they let me drive it I will top that bitch out.

Well, I've been as fast as my car could go. The speedometer was past 150, the rpms were at 4000 and I was in 5th gear. Check out my sig for my mods. I'm guessing I was in the neighborhood of 140-150mph. but when you get up that high on the stock guages you never really know how fast you're really going. Either way its a rush. I do it kinda often. You pass cars that are doing 80 and 90 like their sitting still.

Well, 120 in 4 cyl, 3 speed 4 door 95, buick skylark, then it shut down.
My 94 YZF 600R, got to about 130 and it scared me half to death just cuz there really IS NOTHING THERE TO STOP YOU!!! Still had a bit to go, prolly woulda went 160-170.
the stang, well, about the first month i had it, totally stock, about a year ago, i took it out on the highway, raced an old friend (firebird), started out rolling in second, waited for him to pass me so i could get around the guy in front of me, then we went for it. I was slowing down at 140mph for a light when he called me and said "dude! i'm going freaking 95!!!!" so i laughed and really havent seen him since that last rear vew mirror shot right as we started. 2.73's, pulled the whole way.

120 in my 96 T-Bird LX w/AODE. Pretty nice experience. Still wish I had a Stang! Speedo stops at 120, so I didn't push it.

140 for about 15 miles, it was awsome. It's one of those things that you slow down and you get the shakes and say that was awsome, but never again, lol.
