I was just thinking, how many would be interested in 'invading' a car show. I mean my town here on wednesday nights during the summer has 'cool cars under the stars'. 2 towns over has 'Lombard cruise nights' on saturday nights.
I'd LOVE it if at one of them we could get a dozen or more II's to show up. ALL of last year i went to just about EVERY car show i heard about with my II (no i dont care that it doesnt look 'show quality' ). The last Lombard one i even heard somebody making fun of mine, then the buddy he was with said "But, when was the last time you saw one? Better yet, WHEN was the last time you saw one running??"
For those considering it... location is ELMHURST ILL 60126 and LOMBARD ILL 60148 for those that dont mapquest, about 25miles west of Chicago IL.
I did this once with a grand prix club i used to belong to, 35 cars showed up.
Think about it.... roll it around in yer head..... (Surrounding state residents, the roar of the road as you cruise down the highway)
