Hey everybody I just went out and got myself a new daily driver to replace my honda I just sold. A 1991 Mustang GT! Very happy bout the whole thing since I haven't had a stang for a daily driver in a while. But there's a few problems. First off the car shakes real bad (through the steering wheel) at any speed above 35. I checked out the front suspension and it seems like the passenger strut rod (or stabalizer link? I'm no good with front end parts) feels awfully loose. As in the driver side doesn't move at all but the passenger has a good amount of play to it. Is this causing my problem? Second the car fires up and idles just fine but when I put it in drive (it's an AOD by the way) it starts to develop a lil bit off a miss. It's been tuned up already and still does it. Any suggestions?

It sounds like you have a bad tie rod. Does it move side to side or up and down. If up and down and side to side you might want to have the berrings repacked. Just side to side probally a tie rod, just up and down see what's moving. You probally have a bad tire causing the vibration. Take it to a good shop.

tie rods are fine, no play in the wheels. Just balanced too. Only thing loose is that strut rod/stabalizer link.

I'd say your tires are junk. How does your coil look? any corrosion?

errr the coil has probably seen better days. Not sure if that would cause the problem...
