Well everything happened REALLY quick. I went from not even being sure I was going to sell my old mustang yesterday, to selling it in 3 hours, to not knowing if I was going to take a car of dealer lot or order one... and lo and behold, I came home with a 2008 Mustang GT Premium. Its Alloy Metallic with the spoiler delete option. My signature has the option list.

I LOVE it. It has the new style 18" fan blades, which have the inserts on the blades painted a dark grey. Nearly perfect match to the color of the car. It looks incredible.

Pics to come later - it was too dark to get any good pics when I finally got home today.

Nice ride. I see what you mean about the 08 fanblade wheels. They look good on your car. It's too bad that Ted Britt found it necessary to put a dealer badge and a license frame on your car!

I have the same wheels on a 2007 torch red. I love the paint on the wheels matching the car. Did your dealer do that?
I don't think I would want to paint mine torch red, but your's really looks good.

According to the dealer, the fanblades come like that from the factory for 2008. Its that same grey no matter what color the body is, which seems a little wierd.

I'll be getting rid of the decal soon, and if I get ambitious, the frame will go too Thanks for the feedback!

Congrats on the new GT! Looks almost identical to my 07 Alloy GT Premium Coupe. I have the 64E 18" Fanblades, spoiler delete, etc.

For 2008, Ford is offering the 18" Fanblade wheels with the original silver painted spoke inserts (like my car has) or with the gray painted spoke inserts. The new wheels have a different option code, but are the same exact price (MSRP = $925) from the factory.

How's the HIDs at night? Are the fog lights still halogen? I think it'd look odd with all the lights on and the white color of the HIDs next to the more yellowish halogens.

Yeah, it does look kinda wierd having the two really different color lamps in front, but whatever. The HIDs aren't as bright as I was imagining they would be, but I also haven't done a ton of driving at night either.

Congrats man, I went in with my 05 for service and came home with an 07...even a big difference in 2 years apart. My dealer badge came off in 24 hours and I will be ordering new plate frames to get rid of the dealer frames. Love your wheels...looks awesome.
