Both my car's have black leather. It's like sitting on a griddle in the summer. Looks good hard to sit on. Grey has to be better.

this is the 2nd stang with black leather...gets rather hot :D

I'll be selling them soon (98 GT seats) to get some nice aftermarket ones :flag:

hey

What do i clean the act and ect with the same electronic spray?

And today like i said i have trouble starting the car in the morning but when i start it once its fine the rest of the day. Just when it has not run for a long time. Ill start it it will die out then i start it again rev it up and it runs fine whats that?.

I'm not sure you can really clean the ACT and the ECT sensors effectively. Once you have them out you might as well replace them (about $16 each) or they can be tested with a volt meter. They should throw a code if they are bad but if you know they are old it would be good insurance to replace. If you haven't checked the computer codes yet, that would be a good place to start (some auto stores will do that for you for free). The morning start problem is probably a combination of several things.

I just bought a actron code scanner for 30 bucs so now i can find out really whats going on. Where do i connect it to under the hood can someone show me a pic please?

31 - EVP is the EGR valve position sensor. I would take the EGR valve off and clean it thoroughly - make sure it works back and forth freely. The EVP sensor could be bad as well. See this website for a little more info. http://www.asashop.org/autoinc/oct97/techtips.htm

95 & 96 - looks like you might have some wiring / grounding issues with your fuel pump

29 - VSS bad or unplugged

This website has a little better explaination of the codes and their potential cause. http://www.wcfords.com/articles/info/eec4/eec4.html

The fuel pump pre-pressurizes the fuel rails before you start the car. When you turn the key to "on", before you start it, you should hear a short "whine". That's the fuel pump pre-pressurizing. You need this so the injectors get adequate fuel right away so the car starts the first time. The fuel pump may be your problem, but don't run out and buy a new one without checking some of the other things people have mentioned first. :D
