Are gears still cheap? The last time I checked there were a few places that sold them for 139.00

yup. as of right now i would suggest http://www.mustangtuning.com/rearend.html to get some gears. I oredered mine from there and am supposed to get them on friday so i will let you know. As of right now they have responded to emails and sent confirmation right away. So all is good.

WTF you guys talking about, search still works? I just did a search for 4.10's in the topic line under 94/95 forum.

http://forums.stangnet.com/search.php?searchid=526150

And just get a mail order chip to fix the shift points. Gears are the best mod I've done so far. Makes the car feel 500lbs lighter.

You are going to love those gears. I wished I had gone 4.10s' and I have a 5spd. Break-in for me was to go 10 normally driven miles and then let sit for 1hour. Do this 3x and you are golden.

Drive down a lonely road with the window up and radio off and just listen for any odd noises i.e. whining, clunking. If you don't hear anything floor it and watch her go side ways and you will see the black line you where hoping for. That's your break in

Yeah if they don't make any noises you should be fine. The guy who installed mine was like "be careful that thing revs to the top of second quick as hell".This was the same day they were installed.
