I'm just wondering, if you have no power-adders (Turbo, Nos, Etc..) what are the best HP/TRQ numbers a built, N/A 302 can put out -- Or at least what have you guys seen? Just curious.

id say depends on how crazy u build it, build a race motor ....or somthing u can daily drive, going to be very different so depends on intended purpose

Here is one that could be a dd built on a stock short block platform and it is emissions legal.

There are others on this forum which have put up better numbers but maybe this will give you some kind of idea about what is possible.

There are ways to get some sick #'s like the 376 mentioned before but most of the time H/C/I on a N/A 302 will net you around 300-310 RWHP.

You might want to be careful with that question. There are some guys on here that will dive off the deep end and start bringing up the technology used in F1 cars as applied to 302 cubic inches, and then you'll never hear the end of it... I would say realistically, your average h/c/i well matched combo has about 350-390 flywheel hp. In fact I have a mmff mag that did all sorts of different combos on the 302 engine, let me go get it. yup, here it is, anything from a basically stock 302 making 250 flywheel to a 435 flywheel 302. It has 10.2 compression, afr185 heads cnc ported, a tfs r intake unported, a gt40 lower unported, 70mm throttle, 24lbhr injectors, 77mmMAF, no custom chip, long tubes, COMP xe282hr hydraulic cam with .555 and .565 int/exh @ 232 and 240*. 3 inch exhaust. There, that should answer your question about how wild it can get with boltons...

a pretty good, fairly cheap setup can get you 300rwhp pretty easily

But he said a build motor. those 300rwhp combos are just H/C/I stock shortblocks. With a fresh 302 short block you can add some compression say 10:1 have pistons with valve realiefs so you can get some more lift and duration. I would say a nice 302 combo with 10:1 wouldnt have a problem hitting 330-350rwhp and around 330tq.
