I looked at an 03/04 cobra and was pretty disappointed with it - maybe my expectations were too high. It was stock except for FIPK and Magnaflow catback. Not as comfortable as my fox (but then my fox has Recaro seats), didn't handle quite as well as the fox (but then my fox has Bilsteins all the way around, new UCAs, LCAs, subframes, and B springs - the fox probably has less traction - easier to get the fox's rear out, but I like that!), power was much the same (fox has 331 stroker), interior was cheap assed plastic interior - yuck - can't get past that - also no head room in the cobra. For dropping $30k into a car, plus paying insurance on it, there was no way it was worth it.
Sorry, but after having driven one, I was less than impressed. The only caveat to that was I didn't totally thrash on it, since the owner was sitting beside me, but we still romped through the gears and twisties.
Also looked at an 06 GT - again, not impressed enough to drop $30k on it - nice ride - would be killer with a supercharger - that would way I would go unless you really had to have a car that said cobra on it!

sure do! your gonna have to ignore the messy engine bay, i have been so busy chasing idle issues and working out other bugs that i havn't had much of a chance to clean anything, which really bugs me cause i know it can look alot nicer. what i have been telling people is what it lacks in looks it makes up for in power

Though it is my favorite car, I wasent very impressed with the stock terminator I drove. Its missing something. Im sure an exhaust and pulley will fix that.

Motor looks pretty good. I'm sure that thing hauls. Is it a kit or did you piece it together yourself?

ya i kinda peiced it together for liek half the price of a normal kit, th eonly thing pre-made was the headers and down pipe, but the down pipe only dumped at the k member so i had to make a merge pipe to my cat back. the rest i peiced together

I guess I missed that thread earlier. That looks like a great build up. Congrats on the final product!
