Just finished the Best mod ever and you dont have one So ha!

I just installed a set of dual tone Grover air horns. And let me tell you they are loud and I mean loud. I have never seen so many ppl jump, it is the funnest thing ever, no one expects it and most the time they dont even think its me even when I am the only car around.

Man, its great to see the ppl jump, then look around for a 18 wheeler or train and all the see is a mustang I wish you could see the look on ppl's faces when they find out its me.

I'm gonna have to say a dixie horn would be more fun. But then you might want to paint the car orange and jump some creeks.

Many years ago I had dual air horns in my car. They were freaking loud too. People tend to get the heck out of your way too when you use them on the highway!

before my mustang I had a neon and I had this horn installed that made all this animal noises, and it had a speakerphone and it had some sirens also, and that was the funniest thing in the world. I'd be driving by where a lot of people were walking and just start mooooing, lol, u have no idea, it was tooo funny. And when stopped at drive thrus, it was the best, I'd start barking or something, lol tooooo funny

yea. they get out off my way pretty much anywere. that is if they find out where its coming from. and it works realy good in dallas trafic when ppl are being a** holes i let them know. you got to keep ppl in line some how why not have fun wail doing it and believe me its a whole lot of fun.

I did this mod while stationed in Belgium. When I'd hit the horns, I'd literally scare people right off the road! They'd just pull over to the side and let me by. It was the funniest thing to see. Also had a friend mount high-powered fog lights on his rear dash facing out the back window. Another nice mod to remind people behind you to turn off their high beams!

I had an old 89 ranger...first car...I put a CB Radio with a large speaker under the hood, the CB had the ability to let you talk out of the speaker. I would pull up behind people in Mc Donalds and just start talking while they are waiting...adding in stupid stuff...would listen to the speaker when asked if they wanted it supersized i'd always say yes, then they'd say no that was the jerk behind me. lol..it was great.

To be honest, I'm glad you don't live near me, 'cause I'd come out with a baseball bat if you blew that thing near my house because your friend can't come out when they're supposed to!

You'd think with every Tom, Dick, and Harry in the world carrying a cell phone, that people would use that instead of waking everyone up in the mornings. Anyway, that's just one of my pet peeves.

I got my horn from my friend he works for Ryder. so he took it off of a repoed truck they had. but you can get them from lots of places just do a search for them.

and yea i dont honk my horn in tell noon or so. cuz it would piss me off to get woke up because of someone honking too.

my pet pea is people on cell phones that cut ppl off and crap wail driving. dont get me wrong i got no problem with ppl who talk on cell phones wail driving as long a they dont drive like a## holes. but at leat know if i see some one being a a hole I can let them know. if you know what i mean.

How did you install it? Can you just replace the stockl horn with the airhorn and use the factory wiring?

it is a air horn you dont need any wiring dont get me wrong you can use a electric air valve, but you dont have to. I still have my stock horn.

i have a 5 gallon air tank. in the trunk that hooks up to the switch,which is were the ash tray used to be, then the line gose thu the firewall and hooks up to the horn. the hardest part was finding the room for the horn.

all try to take some pics of it and post them.
