just got a dynotune

hey guys...

went to my tuner so he can tune my setup......i made 324/341...ill see if i can upload the graph.....we could of got more power bumping up the timing but we left it at 33 total....what do you guys think?

If it is an OEM shortblock AND the calibration was done with SAE :)

I'll be really impressed

I got a sneekin suspicion the cal is gonna be STD ;)

Never the less ... with what info I now see

Looks like you are makin some good power :nice:

Yes ... Post up the pull!

Grady

HERES THE GRAPH GUYS......peak hp was at 5800 rpm.....exactly where i wanted it:hail2:

hmmmmmm.....im wondering if changing to an eddy rpm II, a 75mm tb and upping the timing from 10* would put me around 350 rwhp? dont think i would try it but you never know.......alot of you guys dont think its possible with a 302....i might try to prove you wrong :)

awesome #'s. can i ask one question, just out of curiousity?
are you running a fox TB set-up?
my tuner told me i would gain from swapping over to that set-up. and if could gain 10 from just that, which is what he said, i'd be pretty close to you now. and that would be nice

I'd already figured the rpm out earlier Grady. Here's what I said in a post on corral.net:

There's no rpm scale on the dyno chart but that doesn't matter 'cause I've worked it out. The HP and TQ curves cross at 5250rpm which arrives at 106mph so the gearing is 49.5rpm/mph.
Peak HP is at 114mph (5650rpm) and peak TQ is at 86mph (4250rpm) with the rev limit coming at 122mph (6050rpm).
Not only are the peak HP/TQ numbers impressive but there's at least 300rwtq all the way from 2800rpm to 5650rpm, so there's useable power over a wide rpm range.
