just got a pro chamber put on.....but it dont sound right..

first off its on my 02 gt w/ flows and it doesnt sound as loud as i thought it would, but anyway, it sounds real raspy in the front by the headers, like maybe its leaking, or is this the way all prochambers sound like

please help

yup..mine was same way..i took mine off 15min later...mine was teamed up with packs but yes..raspy wasent the word...and the sound near where it connected sounded like a big leak but it wasent..sold it here on stangnet

I put mine on yesterday. I guess you could descibe the sound as raspy. I still have the stock mufflers on there though. I like it.

if you put magnapacks on you would know the definition of "raspy" or slp...straight threw catbacks sound good bythemselves i think

sounds like a leak to me; mine no raspy. well, it was until i sold magnapacks. did u get a new, non-paper gasket, & some new studs for it? need some more info on install.

If it sounds like a diesel truck, then you have a leak. Make sure you have all the nuts tight and the gasket is seated properly.
