i laid down 400 whp, and 400 wtq i didnt tune it, i just got it dynoed

from stock 117k 93 shortblock, with cleaned up heads, oversized intake vaves, and ALOT of boltons and a E cam, and a novi 1k at 6 psi
so far, i was able to pull a 11.3 @ 121 with a 1.5 60ft, on 26x8.5 slicks
not bad for just boltons, and NO tune.

Be more specific for us. Cleaned up e7's? What bolt ons? You using a FMU? Or did you go bigger maf/injectors? Those are excellent numbers, lets hear the whole combo.

Well I wouldnt say just bolt ons. I have similar E7s to you (over sized valves but NO porting on the intake or exhaust side) and would not call it a bolt on car (also stock bottem end and a stock cam). Sounds like a very nice streetable combo that runs hard! Gives me a nice idea what 6 psi would do with my car!

What's even more impressive than that has gotta be your race weight. I'm gonna say under 3,000lbs with driver in order to run those times.

actually before the blower i was 2950 without driver, now im about 3050 with the blower.
thers only one problem, with e7 heads, and a motor that wants to rev past 5500, the boost goes from 6, to almost 10 psi at 5500. because the heads cant flow enough, and its just backing up pressure.
i went high 12's, before the blower, so it took over one full second off of my time.

good numbers for the mild set up.

Man I need better heads for my car. I have the E7 heads but with the stock valves and ports. The intake ports are tapered to the gasket but it only goes about 1/2" in the runner. For what ever reason I stop making power past 5000 rpms, but still make another 2 lbs of boost at 5500 with a power loss. Just out of curiosity where did you make your peak power and tq. at. and what was your power at 5000 rpms. My motor has over 110,000 on it, and our set ups seem simular except you have larger valves and I have more boost. Im almost positive my heads are bottle necking with the stock valves in them.

What rpm are you launching at and what type of tranny/clutch setup are you using?

i was launching at 5k before, but tomarro, ill be launchin at 5500, i need better upper control arms, hopefully so i can get a 1.4 60ft
i have a wc t5, with cf df clutch, my peak power was 5500rpm, but i ran out of fuel after that, my power band is perfect, it keeps climbing gradually, but never slowed down, until i stopped at 5500, but then after than my af goes over 13 to 1 so i stop pullin.
i still have the stock intank pump, with a 255 inline.
i have 30 lb injectos, at a static fp of about 48-49
if i keep gettin questions, and replies, ill post up the dyno sheets

So you are only seeing 6 psi where you let off on the dyno and where you shift at? What intake manifold? Rest of the combo as far as boltons? What kind of 1/8 mile times do you run?

I also dont see the blower adding 100 pounds to the car, 50-65 is about right unless something else changed between the last time you weighed it and adding the blower.

Seems like a real simple and badass combo that gets it done!

Wow, such a basic combo but works so well! Sweet! Wonder what it would pickup with a dyno tune?

Wow, you have me even more eager to get mine running again (see post on electrical issues). Very similar setup, minus cam and cleaned up E7s, but with 70mm MAF, handheld PMS tuner (with wideband O2), Pro-M meter w/ UPR boost pipe, upgraded inginition...etc.

But yeah, you put down some serious power with a simple, basic setup...the way I like it!

So when it was dynoed you only saw 6 psi at peak horsepower or was it making 10 psi to make the 400 rwhp?
