Well my wife and I just got back from MDmotorsports. We had to stay over night because something broke on the dyno and the parts where not shipped to the next day. But Ken gave us such a great deal on the tune that it more than payed for the room and my wife and I took a much needed break. The final numbers Where 347.7 rwhp and 355.8lbs of torque. Max hp was 5700 rpm and max torque at 4600 rpm. With a safe 11:5 a/f. Ken said there was a little left but recommended this safer tune and I agreed. I Would also like to add that Brandon, Ken and his wife where very professional and courteous. Ken let me pick his brain and was willing to answer all my questions. I highly recommend them and I'm very pleased to have done business there.

I assume you mean your A/F was 11.5:1, right? If not, I'm a little confused...

How many pounds of boost are you seeing? What's the total timing of the tune? Do you have any other power mods besides the blower. If the car is total stock minus the blower than the numbers seem pretty much on par.

My guess would be ~ 6 lbs. The S-trims don't make as much boost as the SQ's. I only see 6-7 lbs w/ my setup on the 3.60 pulley.

I still haven't purchased a boost gage. I think the total timing is at 16*. Whats in my sig is what I got 348 rwhp that translates to a little over 400hp at the flywheel a little more than 145 hp increase over stock not bad. My friend neuf has a the v2 with similar mods from Modular power house and we run about identical and that was before the my maf and tune . His is just the mail order package at the time he had not had a dyno tune and was seeing 6-8lbs thats all vortech claims for either units when using a 3.6" pulley. I don't believe that the v2 makes better boost is just quieter. The difference is how the gears are cut .

It's true that the gears are cut different, but the V2 tends to make more boost than the V1. That came straight from Tim when we were tuning my car.

Well as much as I respect Tim boost is a matter of restriction and can tend to vary from car to car. The more free things flow the less psi will be registered. The impellers on the V! and V2 are made the same the gearing ratio is the same so why would one produce more or less psi than the other being turned at the same rpm. The only way the V2 could make more psi than V1 is if the gear ratio's where different I thought the where the same? But I have been wrong before.
