Well we went to Fun Ford Weekend in baytown Tx, and watched all the cars run (awsome, had a ford car doing 6.5s @ 216..got out of it too) then that next morning I ran a total of 3 passes.... I ran with FULL weight + a few clothes in the trunk (10 pounds maybe), 1/4-1/2 tank of gas, my DD 285 kumhos on the 17X10.5 rims set aat 30PSI (not kidding, and I know its HIGH).... here are my results.

---------Left lane, and my very first pass.

#1160

R/T------.310
60'------1.909 ( )
330'-----5.628
1/8------8.691
MPH-----80.86
1000'----11.342
1/4------13.587
MPH-----100.29 ( we did have a 15-17 MPH DIRECT headwind)

that was my best run LOL...second run (right lane) I just smoked the tires to a 2.597 60' (launched too high and once they got going they wouldnt stop) 14.518 @ 99.76

3rd run I ran the left lane again and went back to my 3200RPM launch and backed my first run up with a 1.923 60' and a 13.613 @ 100.30. Most everyone else W/O Drs or slicks couldnt hook worth beans, infact all the bolton Gts dialins were in the 14s, and durring the ETs my dad said the best they can do were 13.7s-14.4s. Ill expand on the rest of the night later, but do you think I could have pulled a better 60' had i dropped PSI to 20 or so? (just to make this tech) Overall I am VERY happy with it. 1.9s YEA!

I think you could have improved on your numbers a lot if you had drag radials :D A buddy of mine could put his STOCK GT at 13.8 with street tires, so I definately think you could get down to low 13s easy.

Yea, the car is capable of more, but its funny, most people that run DRs cant get below 1.90s, last time at the other track on Drs I was getting a 2.03 60' out of 3 runs....I think the gears helped a BUNCh at the launch....BTW my dad was in the stands and he said that the head wind was 20-25MPH when I ran....look at how much slower our cars pull @ 125 Vs 100, that hurt my trap a BUNCH. I think on a good day W/ slicks it would be capable of 12s. Thanks for the reply, and I may be going to SAR this WED to try and improve my ET and trap. EDIT: yea its weird that some people can run about the same time as me when stock, but weight reduction (I had 0) and track conditions make a HUGE difference. If he pulled some weight out and had a nice tail wind on a good track, he could easily pull those times. Heck a mag got 13.8 out of a stock auto GT, but see what they dont tell you is the pulled weight and iced the intake, I think along with some other things...but in reality its still stock engine/power wise. Its amazing that some cars can pull 13s stock, than others can hardly break out of the 15s in GTs....but I bet on the highway at full weight they would all pull about the same. Funny stuff LOL.

Anyways they had that billy gliddon or whatever down there and he busted a 7.06 @ 196MPH (awsome). I seen the car in a mag before and we also talked to his wife a little...had a BUNCH of people down there and were selling hoods, and giving away a 05 V6 stang....LOT of cars running, had a great time. anyone who hasnt been to a fun ford event, YOU NEED TO GO, its a blast.

I went when it was at NPR in Belle Rose ,LA. We got there late on Sunday though so I didn't get to see much. Next year I'll go earlier. I did get a free 05 Hot Wheel for filling out a questionaire.
