Just had Redline D4 ATF put in my Tremec
I'm assuming it is....he has a Triax
Ahh, I didn't check the sig.

Still confused though, does it help the shift to use ATF in a 5 speed stick?

According to Jon Veith (sp?) at Tremec, they do not recommend using Redline fluid in the 3650. In fact, the recommend approx. 3.5 quarts (3.2 liters?) of Texaco Merconregular dyno ATF or if you have to use a synthetic, Mobil One.

For better information, see the 3650 thread located on the top of this board.

So i'm guessing I'm ok with just under 4 Quarts.. the shop I went to recommended I buy another bottle and let them fill it to the top, but i'm guessing i can trust the bullittarchive write up.

the driveability is so much better with the redline fluid so i'll hope I did the right thing.

NEVER GO BACK TO THAT SHOP AGAIN! They have NO idea what they're doing. Just like the shop that put 80 weight gear oil in my brand new T5 and fried it within 300 miles.

"Fill it to the top". Tell Tremec that a shop said to do that and Tremec would probably sue them.

Now, as far as Tremec not recommending Redline OR synth... I guess I'll email them right now.
