Just installed my tweecer, question

Well I just installed my tweecer with the help of my friend Wes (stanger007)
Much props to him for cleaning my interior while I installed it :D
Also he helped me dive into it and show me how to read/write and datalog!

First thing I did was delete EGR, bump idle, and modify shift retard.
I must say just the shift retard and idle increase was worth the tweecer :D

One thing I forgot to do was set my timing to 10 degrees, right now its 14, so I'm not gonna mess with timing till I change that. Also I need to buy EEC analyzer.

Heres my question:
My egr is still on the car, but its deleted in the computer. The egr tube at one point broke off and I kinda just stuck it back together. In the process of jiggling it around trying to remove it I think i kinda messed it up a bit and I believe I have an exhaust leak there, nothing major but I am pretty sure I can hear it.

Will an exhaust leak there affect my tuning to any major extent? Should I fix that leak asap?

Thanks, I am sure I will be asking many questions in the next few days (starting to work night shifts tomorrow)

To start tuning effectively you want the following:

No v leaks
No exhaust leaks
Really ... NO leaks of any kind :rlaugh:

No faulty wiring or loose connections

Stock fuel pressure
Stock dizzy setting

Stuff like the above will be counter productive to your self tuning efforts
