theres a red 92 vert with red interior on the side of a road around here. asking price is 3500. its automatic, and has the 85mph speedo. seats look real good, may be reupholstered, top is down, so i dont kow if it works, its been repainted red, the wheelwells are partially red and the gastank is red. has 103,xxx miles on it. my dads thinking abou tbuying it because hes getting tired of driving his 05 f150. loooks solid to me, engine looks good, has a minor vc leak, but the engine looks mainained.

worth 3500 and my dads time?

hes gonna try to go drive it some time soon.

edit: oh and what kind of gas mileage can that car expect to see.

My wife had a 93 2.3 auto hatch when I met her in 95 and the thing would only get maybe 25 or so on the highway. I have gotten 28 from the 01 GT and 24 from the 91 5.0 aod before gears. $3500 will get a much better 5 speed 5.0 and same mileage.

That is too much for a 4cyl. Conv suck that year cause they will drip water all over you. My friend and I were in his 90 LX conv. We went to the laser/touchless one. We had to drive out in the middle of the car wash cause we were getting soaked. The lights were flashing in the car wash....BACK UP BACK UP!!!!!

WAAAYYYY too high... I have a Reef Blue 4 cyl DD. Slow, 22-24 mpg average mostly highway (I have a lighter 5speed also) and more creaks and rattles then the 5.0. Personally Id say $1500 in great, near perfect shape!
