just ordered a UPR X-Pipe, WOO HOO!!

so i finally ordered it. after much thought and procrastination, its in the mail, along with a set of MILs. i dont know why i waited so long, but ive been thinking about it for the past 6 months or so. i ordered from Cool Blue Performance, and i have to say, they are great!! their MILS were advertised at $64, but i asked the salesman if he would match UPR's price of $54. He was more than willing to take off $10. i would recomend www.coolblueperformance.com to everyone. i cant wait till it arrives!

thanks for the positive comment. im so stoked about it!! did you notice any power gains?? were they just up high?

also, how loud is the pipe? on a scale of 1-10, 1 being stock and 10 being a freight train, what would you say? the louder the better for me

good, i like to hear that it will be loud. i have the stock mufflers. i cant justify paying $250+ for mufflers that will just add sound and no power.

It will sound like booty with the stock mufflers.
Atleast weld in some flows or something.

Hey, I gotta noob question: I have Flows welded in and I was wandering if I got a different mid pipe, would it fit with the stock Cat Back? Considering the 1/4" difference in size????

You shouldn't have any trouble if you weld in Flows (or similar). When I still had the factory mid pipe I had some flows welded in with no trouble. Once I bolted in the UPR o/r X, it was still not a problem.

By the way, with UPR o/r X and Flows, your stang will scream at WOT.

thought u were going w/ the Mustangtuning Xpipe?? LOL! u will like the UPR too!! Just get some weld-in mufflers if thats all u can afford for now! then it will really scream and scare the shiit outta ppl!

I'll agree! Stock mufflers with any O/R pipe sounds bad. Definatley weld in some Flows.

in the end, i couldnt beat the price of the UPR from Cool Blue Performance. $209.99 for the pipe and MILS shipped to my door. UPS should arrive either Thursday or Friday!!

mostly 183, parmer, 1431. 620 a lot as well. i have a billit grill on the front w/ a running pony emblem from a 66 mustang that is off center like on the old mach 1 stangs. if we see each other we need to pull over LOL

yeah, ive seen you. not too many stangs around here with billit grills. theres one guy that ive seen twice who lives off El Salido. its a black 01 or 02 GT. his car sounds sick!! you dont happen to know him, do you?

lol, nope my car looks stock. i have red painted calipers, but thats basically it for looks. you'll probably hear my system before you see me tho although after friday night, im not even gonna listen to my radio, just my new pipe
