I had heard this stuff was really good at reducing the power steering pump whine we Ford owners get, so I finally got around to picking some up. I wish I had done so earlier - it did an incredible job! The pump was a little low on fluid, so I just added some Lucas Oil in to top it off. I didn't drain the old power steering fluid out at all.
The difference showed up real quick. The pump whine was gone before I backed out of my driveway. Just sitting at idle the engine was much quieter, and most of the whine is gone when taking slow-speed turns. The whine is so quiet I can barely hear it over the engine. I was also surprised to find out that the steering wheel was noticeably easier to turn. It didn't take any effort before to turn, but it's somehow easier now.
