just ran the car with nitrous for the first time a 75 shot zexx dry...i can feel it...but didnt impress me...does any1 feel the same or am i just a hp junkie...i got hci thinking bout putting in the 100 shot tomorrow what do u guys think

I remember the first time I srpayed 75 shot, and I about shat myself, then moved to the 100 shot and I remember it would spin all of 1st, 2nd and most of 3rd with 2.73's on street tires on the street...kinda scary, the butt end would just be gliding like it was on ice the tires where spinning that much

Yeah 75 isnt a real seat of the pants feel but you can usely feel 100shot.

It seems that with nitrous (in most cases) until you get over a 100-125 shot, it really doesn't make that "poweradder" difference. S/C's are like that, until about 8psi, they really don't seem to "kick in". Yes they make a big difference, but I'm talking about "that" difference.

Maby your not spraying right. Do you have a bottle heater? What was the bottle pressure? Are you sure it wasn't running way rich?

What was your bottle pressure? You want 900-1000psi. Did you put in colder plugs and lower the gap? Do you have a good fuel pump?

i have the trickflow track heat kit on a 11:1 306 set up for nitrous and when i hit the 75 shot zex on mine its like i got a kick in the ass. it hits harder than 150 on the old motor.

i run my bottle pressure at 1100psi. I LIKE TO FEEL THE HIT!

my NOS system is set up for 125 shot. i still havent hit it yet. Do you think it will be safe to hit w/ 10deg timing and 92 octane?

i dont know about you but i sure as hell felt it the first time a did a 50 shot!! edelbrock wet system (plate) the tires started spinning at 3500 in 3rd gear while i was going 80. twas nuts.

What kind of gears do you have to be going 80 MPH at 3500 RPMs in 3rd gear???? wtf... LOL

I had the same feeling the first time, but I had a pressure gage and it was reading about 800. After some advice from the nitrous guy, I came back next week with a bottle heater.

Wow, with just the 100 shot and bottle pressure at 950, the car picked up just over 5 tenths and 10 mph in the eighth mile!

A strong kick in the rear feeling.

Love this stuff!
